Trainee Sales Person

Swindon Car & Van, an Employee Owned company, are looking to recruit a new person to join our sales department in a broad and varied role working directly with our Sales Manager.

Although primarily responsible for the sale of commercial vehicles and finance products to our wide customer base, the position will also encompass all sales department responsibilities including administration, advertising, vehicle preparation and purchasing.

The position will suit a person looking for a long term career path that could lead to senior management in time who can help grow and develop all aspects of our company.

Previous motor trade experience will be preferred although is not essential with prerequisites being an enthusiastic energetic individual with strong organizational skills who is particular and appreciates detail. The ideal candidate will be articulate, have a strong grasp of numbers and know their way around a spreadsheet and will be open to learning all aspects of the motor trade. Having media and marketing knowledge will be a big plus and a friendly disposition with strong people skills is an absolute must.

Salary is negotiable to include a high basic salary and bonus – OTE £25,000 to £33,000 plus depending on experience.
